Past Participle
Use the past participle to form perfect tenses (with have) and passive voice (be).

Present perfect: I’ve (have-present perfect) never been (past participle) to New York.
Past perfect: I’d (had-past perfect) just finished (past participle) work for the day.

Present simple passive: It’s (be verb) made by hand.
Past simple passive: It was (be verb) built in 1996.
Present perfect passive: The house has (be verb) been sold.
Modal + passive voice: It can (modal verb- can/could/may/might) be used several times.
